Newcastle Community Green Festival will not going ahead in 2009.

Now in its 14th year, Newcastle Community Green festival aims to offer positive solutions to environmental problems. The date for the festival has been announced as Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th June 2009.

The festival is likely to have a number music stages with bands and DJs of all genres from around the area, plus entertainment, workshops, activities and music to suit all tastes and ages.

The festival's aim is to promote positive solutions to environmental problems and raise awareness of green and ethical issues, from mad-cap bike powered music stages to a solar powered cinema.
