Held in Galloway, and popular with seasoned festie-goers from all over the UK, Knockengorroch festivals have been running Celtic/Roots/World music festivals in the hills of Scotland's Southern Uplands since 1998.
For many years there was two events, one in the Spring, Ceilidh Gall Gallowa' on the spring meadows of Knockengorroch farm and one in September, Hairth O'Knokrach on Craigshiels conservation meadow, in the Forest of Ae. The September event stopped happening in 2008.
Knockengorroch Festivals are run by GoDHUA, The Garth of Deugh Upland Heritage Association, a non profit making organisation dedicated to social, economic and cultural regeneration in Scotland's South West.
