Blur's Alex James will host the "Alex James Presents Harvest" festival at his Oxfordshire farm near Chipping Norton from Friday 9th to Monday 12 September 2011.

An adult weekend ticket with camping is priced at £105, weekend camping child (6-15 years) tickets are priced at £40, and an adult day ticket for Saturday or Sunday is priced at £45, and a child's day ticket (aged 6-15 years) is priced at £10.50. The cheese loving musician's event will be strongly food orientated. Notable foodies at the event will include Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, Richard Corrigan, Mark Hix Yotam Ottolenghi, Rachel Allen, Jay Rayner, Valentine Warner, Tommi Miers, Fergus Henderson, Stevie Parle, and Tom Kerridge plus Gardeners' World host Monty Don will also take part.

The festival will offer a range of pursuits on offer, including gardening workshops, cookery masterclasses, a children's field, pop-up restaurants and the obligatory farmers' market. It is anticipated the event will also have camping

The festival will be a sister event to the one launched by TV presenter Jimmy Doherty at his farm in Suffolk, which will take place on the same weekend.
