Having seen the band at the Glastonbury finals earlier in the year I was keen to see them again. Lead singer Moé Barti is a character and it was with some surprise the band announced he wouldn't be appearing due to his wife being ill.
The band did in fact manage to muddle through creating their world rhythms and even attempting a vocal for the first time. since my return from the Vale of Avalon I visited their myspace site to be slightly shocked by Moé's vehement attack on the band. Since then the band have illicited a response. It seems a complicated journey they are travelling on at present.
And the band certainly lacked something without Moé but did a fantastic job at persevering on through the weekend anyway and they sounded a tight rhythm section without him.
I hope the band manage to overcome their obstacles, they clearly managed to on this performance and best of luck for the future.
