FutureEverything offers world premieres of artworks, a city-wide music programme, and visionary thinkers from around the world across 4 festival strands - Art, Music, Ideas and events which will take place at various venues, clubs in Manchester and Salford. FutureEverything will take place from Thursday 27th until Tuesday 1st April 2014.

The festival presents exhibitions, conferences, performances and events, including many world firsts, with a focus on participatory artworks which re-imagine the city.

Line-up

FutureEverything will feature over 300 artists and participants, 100 events, in 30 city-wide venues with the theme of 'Tools for Unknown Futures'. These include Darkside (Nicolas Jaar & Dave Harrington), Dean Blunt, Emmanuel Biard (EMN) and David Leonard: The Hall, Longplayer for Voices and Listening Post, Martin Messier: Projectors (World Première), Mika Vainio / Source Direct / Ninos Du Brasil (Nico Vascellari) / EVOL, Miwa Matreyek: This World Made Itself & Zoomwooz Live Cinema, Presented by Evian Christ (Live), PROJECT: Mooncircle label showcase ft. KRTS (Debut UK tour) + Submerse + Rain Dog, The Space Lady (Debut European Performance), and Tim Hecker (Live).

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
