FutureEverything offers world premieres of artworks, a city-wide music programme, and visionary thinkers from around the world across 4 festival strands - Art, Music, Ideas and events which will take place at various venues, clubs in Manchester and Salford. FutureEverything will take place from Thursday 21st until Sunday 24th March 2013.

The festival presents exhibitions, conferences, performances and events, including many world firsts, with a focus on participatory artworks which re-imagine the city.

Line-up

FutureEverything will feature over 300 artists and participants, 100 events, in 30 city-wide venues over 4 days and nights. Brandt Brauer Frick ft. Om’Mas Keith, Lapalux, Carter Tutti [Throbbing Gristle], Holy Other, WIFE, Andy Stott, Lee Gamble, Rashad Becker, Hieroglyphic Being, Powell, Conor Thomas, Loscil, Roberto Fabbriciani, Land of Light [live], Moonboots, Jason Boardman, Jolyon Green, Simon Tonkinson, Space Dimension Controller, Jam City, and Saoirse.

Now in its 18th year, FutureEverything is anticipated to attract over 75,000 festival visitors.

Conference

The FutureEverything Conference 2013 is being held at which is happening at 4 Piccadilly Place, Manchester with a series of speakers and sessions with Google, Vimeo & the BBC. The 2013 conference will focus on three core themes that will be instrumental in shaping the digital future: Creative Code, Future Cities and The Data Society.

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
