London Green Fair 2011

London Green Fair is the new name for The Camden Green Fair, which returns this year as a two day event. Taking place on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th of June 2011 in Regent's Park, with covered and open-air environments, the London Green Fair will be an interactive smorgasbord of both serious and suggestive takes on the environmental issues that affect Londoners.

Ethos

The Fair aims to teach Londoners about the huge and growing number of sustainable companies, products, campaigns, and lifestyle choices that are available to all.

Line-up

Saturday: Gypsy Hill, Trans Siberian March Band, Jardares Por Fuera, Lokandes, DJ Bingly Bongly.

Sunday: Latin Dub Sound System (TBC), Molotov Juke Box (TBC), Yaaba Funk - Ghanian Broken Beat/Dub, Wara, and DJ Tofu & DJ Penny Metal.

Ken Livingstone and Tony Juniper are also confirmed for the Speakers Tent.

Around the site

With tens of thousands of people expected to attend over 2 show days, this will be the urban green event of the year. Nine zones will offer music, workshops, debates, campaigns, food, markets, experiments and loads for children to get involved in too. The event will have a host of traders at the show, and will feature hundreds of campaigning and community groups, cuisine from around the world and lots of original craft and clothing stalls.

Exhibitors' area

There will be an exclusive exhibitors' area for larger organisations. The space provided is in a prime location on site. This area will also include 'The Best of London' - a unique environment dedicated to corporate philanthropy in the 'green' sector.

Accommodation

This event does not allow camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
