The Camden Green Fair, returns after a year off and hopes to attract more than 20,000 visitors to the environmental event which was started as a local event by a group of people from Camden, with the aim of raising awareness within their community of various environmental issues. Taking place on Sunday 6th of June 2010 the event aims to inspire people to choose a more sustainable lifestyle.

Ethos

The Fair aims to teach Londoners about the huge and growing number of sustainable companies, products, campaigns, and lifestyle choices that are available to all.

Around the site

As well as a green powered main stage the festival offers a Science and Art Area, and Ye Olde Village Green hosting the event's very first village green games with a tug-o-war challenge, free-range-organic-locally-sourced-happy-egg and spoon races, competitions, beat the goalie and much more. This year the Camden Green Fair & Bikefest 'Your Green Fair' Exhibition area where festival goers can bring their old T-shirts, photos, stories and memorabilia; stitch or paint a square for the memory quilt and add their story to the others that make up our 20 year history.
