The Cambridge Club Festival and Tickets for Good pledge over 100 tickets to Ukrainian refugee charities

Tickets for Good and The Cambridge Club Festival have jointly funded free tickets for many deserving people in a first of its kind project with the aim of improving accessibility to the event

The Cambridge Club Festival takes place from 10th - 12th June with a staggering line-up including performances from Diana Ross, Nile Rodgers & Chic, The Jacksons and 90s favourite Gabrielle. In an expansion of the partnership between Tickets for Good and The Cambridge Club Festival, which has already pledged 100’s of tickets to key workers with only a £3.50 booking fee, the two organisations have jointly funded 100 tickets which will be allocated to a range of deserving people.

Ukrainian charities will make the tickets available to both refugees and to the people volunteering time and resources to help them.  Tickets will also be made available to healthcare workers, charity workers, teachers and NHS staff. It’s the first time that Tickets for Good have expanded into these new areas. The subsidised tickets are part funded by The Ticket Fund. This fund is overseen by TIckets for Good and was generated by donations made by ticket buyers at WeGotTIckets.co.uk

Charities and Key workers can sign up to the platform and apply for tickets here - https://ticketsforkeyworkers.co.uk/

Steve Rimmer CEO and Tickets for Good Founder said;

‘This is the second year of working alongside S&C Productions with their festivals Strawberries & Creem and THe Cambridge Club Festival. We’re absolutely delighted that this partnership has already allowed hundreds of NHS staff to attend the events for a very small fee. Our goal at Tickets for Good is always to improve accessibility to events as we believe in the positive power of event participation. Piloting new ticketing platforms for many new groups of deserving people is a big step for us and we’re very grateful to The Cambridge Club for joining us in this mission and to WeGotTickets who have helped raise funds to cover part of the ticket cost.’

Sam Mellor - Head of Marketing for S&C Productions said:

‘Building on a successful partnership with Tickets for Good in 2021 with NHS staff, we’re really pleased to expand this offer to key workers this year – as well as Ukrainian refugees and charity workers. We are committed to making our festivals as inclusive as possible, and accessible to everyone. The team are delighted to get the opportunity to give back a little, by welcoming so many people to the event this year.'

Tickets for Good is a ticketing company with a social purpose, they use a secure ticket delivery platform to distribute free and discounted tickets to NHS staff, key workers and charitable organisations.
