The Stone Roses have cancelled their Japanese gigs at the Budokan after drummer Reni broke two of his ribs.

A Japanese media statement says, "The Stone Roses are very sorry to have to cancel their two proposed concerts at the Budokan. Reni has had an accidental fall and fractured two ribs, his doctor has told him to rest for at least a month. Unfortunately this means that the band are unable to fulfil their planned performances in Japan."

The timescale of a six-week recovery period for Reni, would suggest their Manchester dates at Etihad Stadium on Wednesday 15th, Friday 17th, Saturday 18th, and Sunday 19th June 2016 will be unaffected, although as yet there has been no official statement from the band.

Tickets for those shows are still available priced as follows:
GA (pitch standing & Unreserved seats) £59
Level 2 £75
Level 3 £55
Rear Level 3 £45

Hospitality packages at £240 are available.
