Arctic Monkeys have announced they will be headlining a string of European Festivals next Summer, with Germany's Hurricane & Southside Festivals and Sweden's Hultsfred Festival.

The Arctic Monkeys last toured European festivals in 2011 when they appeared at Hurricane & Southside, Rock Werchter, Roskilde, Eurockeennes, Oxegen, Southport Rocks, Benicassim, T in the Park, and the V Festivals. There are no UK festival dates announced, and it's not known if they have more dates to announce, but they are expected.

Hultsfred Festival takes place at Folkets Park, Hultsfred in Sweden from Thursday 13th until Saturday 15th June 2013 and features a line-up that also includes the nwly announced Band of Horses, and The Flaming Lips.

A four day ticket is priced at 1695 kr (approx £160) with camping, or 1495 kr (approx £140) without camping. To buy tickets click here.

Hurricane Festival takes place from Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd June 2013 in Scheeßel, Lower Saxony, Germany and it's sister event Southside takes place over the same weekend at Take Off Park, Neuhausen ob Eck near Munich.


The line-up is repeated at both events and already includes Rammstein, NOFX, Queens Of The Stone Age, Frittenbude, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Triggerfinger, and Kyteman's Hiphop Orchestra, with Sigur Ros also self confirmed today.
