This summer's The Magic Loungeabout is looking for speakers to make five minute presentations that inspire, inform and entertain.

This year the festival has partnered with Bettakultcha, who are a 5 minute idea exchange cabaret where performers give just a five minute presentation on anything they feel passionate about.

Anyone out there who feels passionate about any subject should write a paragraph of what they would like to talk about and why they should be the chosen one! There are only 8 places, but each speaker will get a free ticket to the event as well as one for a friend.

Presenters can talk about their passions, but no sales pitches, no theme, no censorship, no limit to the possibilities of performance - apart from 20 slides.

Please send submissions to Bettakultcha@gmail.com with Loungeabout in the subject line before the May 31st deadline. To find out more information about the idea, take a look at www.bettakultcha.com

The Magic Loungeabout returns for its third year with an inspiring programme of music and arts. The guest orators for the Speaker's Tent have been revealed. A place for illuminating chat, in-depth conversation and unexpected tangents; the headline speakers including Jon Ronson, Stuart Maconie and Richard Fox..

They join Chic feat Nile Rodgers, The Charlatans, Benjamin Francis Leftwich, Lucy Rose, Cashier No 9, Juan Zelada,Jenny O and Back 2 Basics' Dave Beer, Buckley, Chris Duckenfield, Danielle Moore from Crazy P, PBR Streetgang and many more all play at the Super Club. Guests speakers include BBC 6 Music’s Stuart Maconie, Jon Ronson, and Richard Fox.

The organisers have chosen to increase the capacity by only 1000 to help retain the carefully cultivated intimacy and escapism of the festival held again at Broughton Hall, Skipton, in Yorkshire from Friday 27th until Sunday 29th July 2012.

An adult weekend ticket is priced at £112 and includes camping. Kids must be 12 years or younger on the 27th July 2012 to qualify for a free ticket which they must have for entry. A campervan ticket is priced at £22.50. There is also an installment of 3 payments of £37.34.
