Now in it's third year Zurich Openair takes place not far from Zurich Airport in Rumlang, Switzerland from Thurday 29th August until Sunday 1st September 2013.

A line-up of international indie rock, pop and electro and DJs take to the stage and in the tents.

Line-up

Thursday: Nine Inch Nails, Deftones, Eels, Two Door Cinema Club, Boys Noize, Modestep, Tomahawk, Poliça, Gesaffelstein, Brodinski, and more.

Friday: Arctic Monkeys, Franz Ferdinand, The Knife, Belle & Sebastian, Trentemøller, Pendulum (DJ Set) & Verse, Tom Odell, Pablopolar, and more.

Saturday: Paul Kalkbrenner, The xx, Fettes Brot, Justice (DJ Set), James Blake, Jessie Ware, Sebastian, Erol Alkan, Jackson And His Computer Band, Riton, Evelinn Trouble, and more.

Sunday: Miles Kane, My Heart Belongs To Cecilia Winter, and more.

Tickets

The early bird offer has ended. An adult ticket is priced at 210 CHF (approx £150), day tickets are 88 CHF. Children under 12 when accompanied by parents free entry (ID is required). To buy tickets, click here.

Accommodation

There is no camping but trams run back to Zurich each evening, and there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.

Getting there

If getting to the festival by plane the nearest international airport is Zurich which is famous for its highly efficient, clean, safe, and inexpensive public transportation network. The ticket includes round trip transport to the festival in the zones 110 & 121, 2nd Class and in the subsequent CRVO-night network.
