Started in 1999, Whitehaven Festival will take place from Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd June 2013. The Festival is largely held in the harbour area.

Line-up

Friday: McFly.
Saturday: Bruce Foxtons from the Jam, The Sweet, and Slade.
Sunday: Les Mckeown's Bay City Rollers.

The festival is a mix of live music, street theatre, comedy, visiting tall ships, air shows, and a giant continental market featuring the best of Cumbria's food producers. This year's entertainment will include Titan the Robot, Xtreme action jet skis, and nightlight pyrotechnics fireworks on Friday and Saturday.

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
