Wattsfest takes place from Friday 9th until Sunday 11th July 2010. The festival site is very near the village of Uffculme and not far from Tiverton in Devon.

Line-up

Four stages of music including Get The Blessing, Smerins Anti Social Club, The Raghu Dixit Project, Nightbus, The Resonators, Burly Chassis, Flash Bang Band, Zimbaremabwe, Django Spears, The Whisky Drifters, Urusen, Bert Miller & The Animal Folk, The Wailingest Cats, Conrad The Scoundral, Poppy and Friends, Chik Budo, Pepino, Rae, The Bodega Brothers, Steve Elston, Toby Norman, Thomas Ford, and Max.

Plus electronica from Octogen, George Lazenbleep, Soccer 96, Scrase, Chasing Cougar, Plurals, Alembic, Bunty, DJ Stamper, DJ Timbadd, Full Melt DJs, DJ Punksi, DJ Brodo, and DJ Chin Suppressor.

The music programme includes folk, campfire lullabies, improvised and experimental sessions in the afternoon and dance beats in the evening.

Tickets

Tickets are available at the same price as last year, £40 for an adult weekend ticket. Reduced priced tickets for 13-18 year olds will be available priced at £25. If you have one of these tickets you will be asked when entering the festival to show ID to confirm your age. Children aged under 13 can come in for free but must be accompanied. If they look older than 13, ID might also be needed to confirm age. Day tickets are not available in advance. However, due to the demand of local people, some day tickets will be available on the gate.

Opening times

The festival opens on Friday at 5pm, and ends on Sunday at 4pm. The festival aims to have a family vibe and will offer workshops and activities for teenagers and younger children, alongside a play area for small children, circus skills and DJ workshops for teenagers and morning yoga classes for all from 11-12 on Saturday and Sunday.

Theme

For the first time Wattsfest will have a theme this year - 'The Way of the Chap'.

Facilities

This small but perfectly formed festival presented by Avantrural and Holmbush Records offers an array of music and performances, camping, a bar that includes local ales and ciders and their own kitchen serving proper food.

Bob Watts has held festival gatherings on his farm for at least a decade in 2008 the event was transformed by the Avantrural crew and their friends and collaborators, Holmbush Records.
