The 29th Wacken Open Air takes place in the small town of Wacken in Schleswig-Holstein, northern Germany.

The festival will take place over 3 days from Thursday 2nd to Saturday 4th August 2018.

Tickets are priced at 221 euros for the full three days including camping.
Day tickets are not made available.

Wacken is located 10 km north of Itzehoe and 50 km north/west of Hamburg.

Camping is available on several large camping grounds surrounding the festival arena, and from the Monday before the festival (no extra charge).
Campers an pitch their tent right next to their car.
