Now in its 12th year, Vegfest UK Bristol, the veggie event also known as Bristol Harbourside's Eco Veggie Fayre, will take place at The Amphitheatre, on Bristol's harbourside from Friday 23rd to Sunday 25th May 2014.
Expect a line-up of live music and entertainment spread over multiple stages and a comedy tent.
The headlining acts are:
Friday May 23rd - Boney M, Gwen Dickey's Rose Royce, Abba Gold
Saturday May 24th - Peter Hook and the Light, Ruts DC, Goldblade
Sunday May 25th - Black Roots, Zion Train
Vegfest hosts over 120 exhibitors; has talks on healthy living; a Ready Steady Chef competition; cookery demonstrations and workshops; an animal sanctuary; walkabout performers; crazy golf; cookery workshops for the kids.
Viva! will be celebrating 20 years of fighting for the rights of animals, people's health, the environment and sustainable global food production. They will host a number of talks and cookery demos, as well as handing out thousands of leaflets on their campaigns and collecting donations on the gate to further support their good work.
Entry for Friday is £10.
On Saturday and admission is £3 before 5pm, £5 after 5pm.
Sunday admisssion is £3 before 5pm , £5 after 5pm. Daytime admission includes headline acts in evening.
Pay on gate. Child ticket (under 16) Free.
On Friday the venue is open from 5.30pm to 11pm and the marquees are not open on Friday. On Saturday the venue is open 11am - 11pm and on Sunday it's open 11am - 10pm with the marquees open until 6pm on both weekend days.
