Due to concerns about COVID, the festival have halved capacity and focused on outside events for 2021, branded as "Pint-Sized Towersey". Tickets can be refunded or kept for this smaller version.

This thriving major folk arts festival, returns to celebrate the 56th time, at a new site, the Claydon Estate, near Buckingham. The dates are confirmed as the Bank Holiday weekend of Friday 27th to Monday 30th August 2021.

Towersey has developed in the last few years from a very folky event into a more eclectic festival with a fair amount of World and broader acoustic music, singer songwriters stage, poetry, street theatre etc.

Line-up

Acts include This is the Kit, Show of Hands, Steeleye Span, Eddie Reader, Gruff Rhys, Edward II, Ferris & Sylvester, Talisk, Ross Ainslie & Tim Edey, Merry Hell, She Shanties, Amy Montgomery, Jackie Oates & John Spiers, The Trials of Cato, Ranagri, Jez Hellard & The Djuekella Orchestra, Edwina Hayes, and many more.

Tickets

Tickets have sold out and were priced as follows:-
adult weekend with camping: £169
adult weekend no camping: £144
youth (aged 5-17) weekend with camping: £85
youth (aged 5-17) weekend no camping: £70
campervan/motorhome: £20
children aged under 5 are free but need a ticket.
Day tickets also available.

Ceilidh

This year's theme for the Ceilidh has not yet been confirmed. Expect also a circus, yoga, big sessions, community singing, knitting, ukulele, bodhran, guitar, clay modelling, sculpture, Tai Chi and more.......plus the now world famous Towersey Lantern build!

The Claydon Estate is 20 minutes from the M1 (Milton Keynes) and the M40 (Bicester), and 10 minutes from Buckingham.
