The 3rd Degree showcases the up and coming talent from artists from many genres of music. The event plays host to more than 30 acts over 16 nights between Friday 16th April and Saturday 1st May performing in the Paul McCartney Auditorium at his famous Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts.

The line-p announced includes Lauran Pritchard, Pink Film, Prison Area, Kakafonia, Magnum Bliss, Shadowplay, Summerskin, Guro Vikingstad, Kirshwin, La Jean, Anna Lena And The Orchids, Charco, Juplo, The Neon Lights, Untouched, Wesley James, Atqo, In Casino Out, Fables, Foothills, Millions Of Oysters, Zoe Nicol And The Worry Dolls, Rosie Jones And The Mystery Machine, with many more to be confirmed.

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in Liverpool.
