The second Trip Festival, the three day family friendly camping weekend of live music, DJ's, theatre, poetry and craft workshops will take place on The Vaynol Estate, Bangor, in North Wales, over the Bank holiday weekend, from Friday 27th until Sunday 29th May 2011.

The music will come from live acts and DJ's, offering Balearic, Disco, Psychedelic and Electronic dance music. The Trip also has a special focus on supporting new, up and coming talent from Wales and the UK.

Line-up

DJs: Idjut Boys, Ashley Beedle, Terry Farley, Kelvin Adnrews, James Holroyd, Softrocks, Adam H, Danny Mekanik, Brian G Morrison, Mixmaster Morris, Myles, Purple Radio DJs, and Mark Forshaw.

Bands: Beverley Martyn, Mungolian Jet Set, Colorama, Lone Pigeon, Race Horses, Stealing Sheep, The Wild Eyes, Smoove & Turrell, Pulco, The Wicked Whispers, Jez Kerr (A Certain Ratio), We//Are//Animal, Tea Street Band, John Stammers, By The Sea, Richard O'Flynn, Houdini Dax, Gintis, The Loungs, Mr Huw,Hacia Dos Veranos, Eighty Six, and Les Etoiles.

Tickets

The early bird offer has ended. An adult full weekend ticket is priced at £70, a young person (aged 10 - 16 years)weekend ticket is priced at £30, with children aged 0 - 9 years, able to attend for free. A family 3-day weekend ticket is priced at £160. A live-in vehicle ticket is priced at £20 and a car parking pass is £5.

Camping

Because of the fire risk, no open fires or tin foil barbeques are allowed on site. However, camping stoves or barbeques on legs may be used. No glass bottles are allowed on any part of the festival site, including the camping areas. Closure: Please note that the campsite closes and must be empty by 12:00 midday on Monday 30th May 2011.

Children

Children will have their own area of interactive craft workshops, wood carving, Circus skills, poetry, theatre and storytelling.

Food and drink

Food and drink will be sourced from local producers, expect a very Welsh twist!

Local area

A short walk offsite is one of Anglesey's popular beaches Church bay, also known as Porth Swtan. Further afield and a short drive over the Menai straits is the Snowdonia National Park.
