The Fling 2011

The Fling is a one day festival which offers live music, cabaret, and curiousitie (sp) on Saturday 2nd July 2011 at Central Park, Chelmsford.

Line-up

The acts confirmed are The Cuban Brothers, The Milk, New Town Kings, Angry Vs The Bear, Missing Andy, The D'Ukes, The Lemoncurd Kid, Jonas Graile, Tall Dark Friend, Happnin' Boy, Ease Springs, Richard Dobney & Co, Di Billinghurst, Jamie Williams & the Roots Collective, For the Love of Bob, Brooking & Martin, Jugnu Bhangra Group, Chakardar, Ramesh Babar; Poets - Nathan Penlington, Wayne Smith, Abi Palmer, Dan Cockrill, Rob Auton, Martin Galton, Iain Sinclair, Amy Acre, Karen Hayley, Tom Bell, Travis Elborough; DJs - Void Collective, Format, Lopez, Bandcrash, Darcy & Badspeller; Comedians - Kevin McCarthy, Karen Bayley, Nik Coppin, Brian & Krysstal; Cabaret - Beatrix Von Bourbon, Mat Ricardo, Moonfish Rhumba, Khandie Khisses, Honey Wilde, Lydia Darling and The Popcorn Club (London).

The Fling will feature music, cabaret, comedy, poetry, burlesque, dance, silent disco, casino, peepshows, installations, theatre, sideshows, workshops, walkabout, fireshows, fancy dress, storytelling, bollywood bling, facepainting and adult films.

Tickets

Entertainment

A playful festival specifically aimed at those aged over 18 and taking place in a quirky village inhabited by the wonderful, the weird and the bizarre. The festival stars a fabulous cast of local talent and professional artistes.

There will also be a selection of food, soft drinks and alcohol available to purchase at the event.

Parking

Please note that there is no parking on site but it is within 5 minutes walk of Chelmsford town centre.
