Swingamajig is a new festival that is centred around the Spotlight, in Digbeth, Birmingham on bank holiday weekend Sunday 5th May 2013.

A one day urban festival of Electro Swing, Gypsy Folk and Vintage Sounds Styles and mayhem. Taking the sounds and styles from the 1920′s and bringing them up to date with a modern twist they are going be partying like its 1929!

Line-up

Headliners are The Correspondents, Electric Swing Circus, DJ Switch, and Madame Electrifie. Plus Dutty Moonshine, Odjbox & Pierre, C@ in the H@, The Frsh Dixie Project, Circoswing, DJ Chris Tofu, Lamuzeguel, Elle And The Pocket Belles, Rumjig, Don Johnston & Leo Wood, Johnny Kowalski & The Sexy Weirdos, The Killer Dillers, Myko Du Mal, Jon Bongly, Lady Swing, The Chicken Brothers, Jolt, Jam Tidy, Folie A Deux, DJ Mylz, and Billy Chill Fingers.

There will be two outdoor stages, and an indoor speakeasy, showcasing UK and EU talent, both live bands and DJs, as well as circus performers vintage stalls, crazy decorations, projections and all sorts of other madness. Artists are working on various installations with all sorts of mediums, so you can expect some of the best that the second city has to offer.
