This festival features several different gigs with acclaimed national and international blues musicians playing at a variety of venues around the picturesque seaside town of Swanage, on the South West coast of England. The 14th edition of the event takes place from Friday 7th to Sunday 9th March 2014.

All sorts of styles are represented such as acoustic, electric, rural and urban blues.

Line-up

Assorted Buskers, Back Porch, Blue Touch, Blues Machine, C Sharp Blues, Chloee Christmas and her band, Fabulous Fezheads, Hugh Budden & The Blue Chords, Jam Sessions with Robin Bibi Band, Jawbreakers, Johnny Sharp, Kevin Brown, LedFree, Mustangs, Northsyde, Open Mic Sessions with Johnny Sharp and Martin Froud, Paint It Blue, Pete Christie, Pete Harris R & B Allstars, Ray Drury, RedCrow, Riotous Brothers, Riverside Blues Band, Robin Bibi Band, Stan's Blues Jamboree, Steve Brookes, Steve Darrington, The Blues Duo, Will Killeen and Zoe Schwarz Blues Band.

There will be 30+ acts playing more than 60 gigs in 15 indoor venues, all with free admission.

There are open mic sessions every afternoon and usually a Blues Steam Train ride plus dancers, street musicians, jam sessions (Saturday and Sunday), buskers, Gospel Service, and workshops.

Wristbands

Organisers have had to discontinue the bucket collections due to problems with red tape, health & safety and insurance issues... so they are selling weekend wristbands instead as a pledge and a symbol of the attendees commitment these are priced at £10 for a weekend wristband.

Accommodation

Accommodation is available from around £20 per person per night in the town itself.
