Every summer for the past 37 years, this tiny hamlet comes alive to the sound of some of the best music to be heard anywhere in the country. Held in colourful marquees on a greenfield site at Brunt's Farm, there are stunning views across the valley to the National Trust's Hardwick Hall.

Run by unpaid volunteers as a not-for-profit charity, all the money goes back into the music and nowhere else. Artists confirmed so far include:
Robin Williamson; The Hush; Vin Garbutt; Loscoe State Opera; Jed Grimes; Le Cod Afrique; Vicki Swan and Jonny Dyer; and Left Hand Drive with more to come.

Other attractions include children’s entertainers, music workshops, drumming sessions, Morris Dancers, Healing Circle, craft stalls, Singers' competition, singaround, Arabic Dance workshop, fire shows, real ales, and wicker structures.

There is free camping and car parking for all weekend tickets holders. Kids under 16 years get in free if accompanied by an adult. The festival opens at 12 noon on Friday and closes at midnight on Sunday.
