Southsea Fest takes place on Saturday 20th September 2014 at multiple venues around Portsmouth. The event promises live new music as well as poets, and DJ's all by the sea.

About

The not-for-profit Southsea Fest features over a hundred up and coming bands and DJ's, the event looks to establish itself as a leading new music showcase for the south coast.

Charity

Established in 2007 as the Southsea Mini Music Fest, the one day charity event sold out its 350 capacity, held in aid of promoter Josie Curtis' younger brother to record an album, post a bone marrow transplant. Since then a number of small events have led the way for the nautical-themed festival to develop, with all profits from the day still going directly to charity.
