The annual three-day music festival returns to Barcelona, Spain for its seventeenth year from Thursday 17th through to Saturday 19th June.

Line-up

The Chemical Brothers, Dizzee Rascal, LCD Soundsystem and Air are joined by Roxy music, New Young Pony Club,Aufgang, Post War Years, Cabo San Rogue, Caspa and MC Rod Azlan, 2manyDJs, Hot Chip, Fuck Buttons, Plastikman live (Richie Hawtin), Aeroplane, King Midas Sound, Matthew Herbert, Riton, DJ Mehdi, Uffie and Cristian Vogel. Mary Anne Hobbs will be hosting her own showcase with guests Flying Lotus, Joy Orbison and Roska.

Location

Sónar By Day takes place in the Center of Contemporary Culture and the Museum of Contemporary Art very near to La Rambla. It usually starts around Midday and continues until around 10pm for each of the three days of the festival. This part of the festival features live bands, DJs, multimedia art, record/clothes stalls, demonstrations, a cinema, and other activities.

Sónar by Night takes place away from the centre of Barcelona, special coaches transport festival goers to the SonarPark housing four arenas showcasing DJs, VDJs and live entertainment.

Tickets

The early bird offer has ended. Tickets are on sale priced at 155 euros a ticket, and will be more expensive if purchased on the door. To buy tickets, click here.

Accommodation

Festival goers will need to find themselves accommodation whilst the festival is on as there is no camping facilities at the event.
