Simple Things returns to various Bristol venues after a 4 year absence, and will be one of the first multi-day music events after the re-oepning of the Bristol Beacon. Known for booking some of the most acclaimed names in contemporary music, Simple Things return is a massive one on the UK festival scene.
The programme on 24.02.24 is split into a day and night programme. The day incorporates five venues and ten stages of music. The night programme takes place across three venues and features seven music stages. The night programme takes place across two venues and features six music stages.
All the venues used are within a 10-minute walk of each other and mostly taking place at the newly-renovated Bristol Beacon. It's the first time since reopening that all rooms of the venue will be used concurrently, so it is going to be a big big day.
Split into two halves, the daytime line-up includes Antony Szmierek, Casisdead, Butch Kassidy, Ditz, Flowdan, Gazelle Twin, George Riley, Giant Swan, Gilla Band, Honeyglaze, Jessica Winter, Kayla Painter, Keg, Les Savy Fav, Maria Uzor, Max Cooper, Miso Extra, Miss Tiny, Neko , O., Scaler, Spectres, The Bug Club, The Outlines, Viji, and Warmduscher and many more.
The night-time line-up includes Amaliah, Chez De Milo, Daisy Moon, Danielle, Dave Harvey, DJ Python, Ellie Stokes, Em Williams, Facta, Ido Plumes, Josey Rebelle, Julio Bashmore, K-LONE, NIKS, Nick León, Orpheu The Wizard, Outsider, Saoirse, Vlada, Yushh and many more
This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
