The cobbled fort town of Saint Malo, Brittany in France hosts this eclectic alternative music festival. The 22nd edition of the festival runs from Thursday 10th to Saturday 12th of August 2012.

The three day festival takes place in and around a seaside town in Brittany, with the main stage in the ruins of an old French castle. A ferry ride across the Channel. The festival will play host to thirty fresh and largely undiscovered acts. The event lasts three days, attracts around twenty five thousand festival goers, and promises bands and musicians on three stages.

Friday: Spiritualized, Squarepusher, Dominique A (Towards the glow), Patrick Watson, The Soft Moon, Alt-J, Scene Tour, Civil Civic, Yeti Lane, Don Nino, Michael Mayer.

Saturday: The XX, Mark Lanegan, Breton, My Best Fiend, Lower Dens, Savages, Scene Tower, Willis Earl Beal, Egyptology, Dominique A (The Dimple), Memoryhouse, Ela Orleans, Jamie XX.

Sunday: Mazzy Star, Hanni El Khatib, Chromatics, Stephen Malkmus And The Jicks, The Walkmen, Cloud Nothings, Scene Tour, Colin Stetson, Judah Warsky, Jonathan Fitoussi.

Tickets

Getting there

St. Malo is easily accessible by ferry from Portsmouth, Poole... on the south coast - with discounts available for UK festival goers.
Airports : Dinard Airport (Dinard to St. Malo is approx 10km) or Rennes Airport (50 min from St Malo by car)
Train network goes to St. Malo
