Rock N Roll Circus is a multi-day festival mixing the best of live music with the best of circus entertainment. Not only will the artists blow you away as they rock the Big Top, bit also experience breath-taking performances by the resident aerialists, stilt walkers, fortune tellers and much more.

This year's line-up:

FRIDAY 1st SEPTEMBER
Friday at Rock N Roll Circus sees Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds headline the big top,
alongside Happy Mondays, The Cribs, The Joy Formidable and Somebody's Child.

In collaboration with BBC Radio Sheffield, the Rock N Roll Circus Introducing stage will host 12 of
the best emerging acts in the area across the three days, who are set to perform in front of thousands
of music fans. The BBC Introducing Stage for the Noel Gallagher date will see the likes of Sheffield
rockers and Steve Lamacq favourites Weekend Recovery take to the stage alongside The
Underground Sound Society, Mock Tudors, Lost Boy and Harri Larkin.

SATURDAY 2ND SEPTEMBER
Saturday is the biggest show to-date and a headline homecoming for Yorkshire’s finest Self Esteem,
with Natalie Imbruglia, Confidence Man, Bimini, Arctic Numpties. It is the only chance to catch
Self Esteem’s live show this year before she stars in Cabaret in London’s West End from mid-
September.
BBC Introducing will host the magical world of Yorkshire TikTok star and
singer/songwriter Precious Pepala, Oh Papa, Gia Ford, Sister Wives and Rhiannon Scutt.

SUNDAY 3RD SEPTEMBER
Sunday 3rd September plays host to legendary Gatecrasher DJs and Gatecrasher Classical. The
globally acclaimed DJ and audio architect Ferry Corsten makes a welcome return to Don Valley to
join a string of high-profile djs, including Ilan Bluestone, Ruben de Ronde, Mark V, Sander van
Doorn and the Gatecrasher Classical orchestra.
Sheffield DJ legends Corey Mahoney and Simon Brown have been confirmed to start the Sunday
closing party in style alongside the likes of BBC Introducing top picks, Lee Parkinson and Charla
Green.

Location

Rock N Roll Circus will be held at the Don Valley Bowl, Sheffield.

 

The location of customer entrances will be communicated nearer the event.

Note: There is no parking at the festival.

 

Event Timings

Gates open on Friday at 4pm. On Saturday and Sunday at 3pm.

The event closes at 11pm.

Last entry to the site is 9pm.

 

There is a box office located near the entrance. Box office opens an hour before doors and closes at 9pm each night.

 

Age Policy

Rock N Roll Circus is open to all ages.  Under 14s must be accompanied by an adult and under 5s go free of charge with a full priced adult ticket (maximum 2 per ticket).

We do not accept any parental or supervisory duty of care or liability for any under 18’s on site.

 

Bag Restrictions

If you are bringing a bag, it must be no bigger than an A4 size sheet of a paper otherwise it will not be permitted.

 

Can I bring my own alcohol?

We do not permit any alcohol to be brought on to the site. We have a great selection and variety to purchase from ales to cocktails across various bars.
