This year Redbridge Green Fair offers a two day event as Midsummer Music Fest is scheduled for Saturday 4h and Sunday 5th July 2010 offering diverse styles of FREE live music.

Venues

The venue for Saturday's performances is Ilford Town Centre, with Sunday's performances taking place in Valentines Park .

The event now in its 8th annual weekend is based around the local community and is organised by volunteers.

The Redbridge Midsummer Music Fest is based on the popular Fete de la Musique which was started in France in 1982 and has now spread throughout Europe and beyond. In the spirit of the Fete de la Musique, the Redbridge Midsummer Music Fest is a celebration of live music and provides a platform that allows amateur and professional musicians, playing in a wide variety of styles to perform in the community, for local people for free.
