Waves festival return to various venues in Sunderland this winter on Saturday, 5th November 2022. The Main Stage is now The Fire Station alongside the five other venues involved in 2021: Independent, The Peacock, The Ship Isis, The Bunker and Live Lounge. 

Line-up

Confirmed acts include headliners, The Pale White, Dutch indie 4-piece Pip Blom, Leeds based electronic/ funk party band, GalaxiansDeclan Welsh and the Decadent West, the Ishmael Ensemble, Tom A. Smith, York 5-piece Bull, Sunderland dance/pop outfit Vandebilt, the psychedelic/indie sounds of The Dream Machine, Luke Royalty, Hivemind, Yaatri, Wax Heart Sodality, and Ghost//Signals as well with many more still to be announced.

Tickets are currently priced from £24.50.

Each ticket is swapped for a wristband on the day of the festival from The Fire Station ticket office. This wristband allows entry into all six venues but does not guarantee it – each venue has their own capacity and when that capacity is hit, a one-in-one-out system will be in operation.

Please note: Under 14s must be accompanied by an adult (please check individual venue policies on age guidance).

Accomodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in and around the city of Sunderland
