Beyond The Sea is a new annual, boutique music festival celebrating the great composers, lyricists and song stylists of jazz, swing, soul and pop at Lowther Pavilion, in Lytham Saint Annes on the Lancashire coast. It will take place between Friday 25th and Sunday 27th May - the bank holiday weekend.
On Friday 25th May, songwriter, musician and producer Guy Chambers will host a song writing workshop during the day, before performing his live show in the evening, accompanied by singer Andy Caine. Best known for his work with Robbie Williams on songs including Angels, Let Me Entertain You, Strong, No Regrets, Millennium and Rock DJ. Has also written songs with Caro Emerald, Diana Ross, Tina Turner, Mark Ronson, Kylie Minogue and many more. He will be playing and revealing the stories behind the hit songs and collaborations.
On Saturday 26th May, is the seven piece band Ray Gelato and The Giants. Gelato, known for his distinctive Louis Prima vocal style, is credited for helping kick off the swing revival. The theatre will be a mix of theatre and cabaret seating enabling jazz and swing lovers to take to the dance floor and bringing the London jazz club scene to Lytham.
Sunday 27th May kicks off with a gospel and jazz Sunday brunch. The buffet style event will be held in the main theatre with catering provided by the team from The Villa. There will be live gospel and soul music throughout the day and local favourites The Jazz Club 3, will complete the line-up.
Clare Teal will close the festival on Sunday evening. From swing to ballads, Clare Teal's mini big band concerts are renowned across the country for their energetic exuberance. Whilst she often tours with a trio, for this show she will be backed by a seven piece band.

Camping is not available but there are a number of hotels, hostels and B&Bs in the area.
