Folk in a Field is a festival in a remote woodland clearing in rural Norfolk and will be held between Friday 30th June and Sunday 2nd July 2017. There will be a diverse mix of acoustic and folk performers as well as craft demonstrations, local real ales and local food.
The announced acts for each day are:
Friday 30th June: Nepomuk, TheLarks, The Malingerers, Front Porch
Saturday 1st July: Creeds Cross, The Vagaband, Rob Heron & The Tea Pad Orchestra, Solana, Jake Morrel, Long Shore Drift, Slightly Offensive Steve, Georgia Shackleton Trio, Hannah Sanders & Ben Savage, Willowspin Ceilidh, Anto Morra, The Hobblers, Chad Mason
Sunday 2nd July: Chris Pidgeon, Wolfswood, Daniel Nesterode, Flaming June, Tarn, Jack William Pout, Rik Van Den Bosch
Early bird tickets are on sale. Tickets are currently priced at £50 for the full weekend (including camping) or £40 for Saturday and Sunday (including camping). Day tickets are also available. Child tickets (aged 12-16) are currently priced at £30 for the weekend or £25 for Saturday and Sunday. Under 12s go free.
There will be wood turning, chainsaw carving, Reiki and healing tent, hand made jewelry, basket weaving, a blacksmith demo, pottery, clothing, workshops and other arts and crafts. There will also be a dedicated kids area including a giant rocking horse, sand pit, tyre swings and plenty of woodland to explore.
