The Playground Festival has been cancelled.

A statement from The Playground Festival says:
"We are sad to say that after much of a battle here we have been left with no option but to cancel the entire Festival. After poor ticket sales and an investor parting ways with us we weren't able to rectify the matter.

Any tickets bought from Trackitdown, Ticketweb, Resident Advisor, See Tickets, Skiddle, Stargreen, Wegottickets, Fatsoma, Artist Ticket, Groupon will be refunded immediately.

Further announcements to be made about refunds and the status of the rescheduled 13th July event at KOKO.

After seven years of running events we appreciate all the support we have had so far although MEDIAGROUND LTD. Has been left with no option but to file for insolvency moving forward.

The Playground Festival is a two day festival taking place on Friday 7th and Saturday 8th June at the O2 Academy Brixton, London. Both nights start at 9pm and end at 6am the next day.

Line-up

Friday: Leftfield (DJ Set), Digitalism, James Lavelle, Booka Shade, James Zabiela, DJ Hell, Kavinsky, Cassius, Model 500, X-Press 2, Boddika, Deadboy, Krystal Klear, Mickey Pearce, No Artificial Colours, Wildkats, Whyt Noyz, Severino, Dan Beaumont, Luke Unabomber, and Luke Solomon.

Saturday: The Orb, Squarepusher, Gary Numan, Vitalic, Derrick May, Kevin Saunderson, Pantha Du Prince, John Foxx & The Maths, Wolfgang Flur (Ex Kraftwerk), Nathan Fake, Tokimonsta, Lapalux, Luke Vibert, Fantastic Mr. Fox, Om Unit, Molo, The Ninetys, Daktyl, Flechette, Charlie Traplin, Maxx Baer, Templa, and Ryan Hemsworth.
