The Hidden Hill Festival takes place from at a secret woodland location in the Lincolnshire Wolds from 6pm on Friday 21st until Sunday 23rd June 2013.

Line-up

3 main stages and lots of undercover areas featuring Andrew Weatherall, Public Service Broadcasting, Hexstatic, Ulrich Schnauss, Compuphonic, Tim 'Love' Lee, Tim Simenons Ghost Capsules, Tummy Touch Records, Extra Curricular, Steve Cobby (Fila Brazillia), Bitbin, Drop Velvet, Sarah Johns Music Party, C23, The Wild Knights, Dom C, Flies & Flies, Astral Eddie, Mammal Hum, Too many Ts, Free School, Porky, Goodnight Ohio, HiEM, Residents Association, James Alec Hardy, The Life & Times of Brothers Hogg, Victories at Sea, Robots Found Errors & many more. Acts from labels Pork Recordings, Steel Tiger, Finger Licking Records, This is Now Agency, and many more to be announced.

Camping

The site has flushing loos and showers. No cars are allowed onto the campsite unless towing a caravan and no cars or live-in vehicles are allowed in any of the other camping areas. A live in vehicle pass costs £20 plus a booking fee to be purchased via ticket sellers. The area for live-in vehicle camping doesn't have power or septic tanks. Taps in the area provide fresh drinking water. If you have bought a live-in vehicle pass and would like your friends to camp near you, you can have a maximum of 2x two-person tents or 1x four-person tent pitched nearby.

Theme

This year's theme is 'What Lies Ahead Is Rediscovery'.

Preamble: You've escaped urban civilisation on a special costume and now in the wild you notice the trees, the skies, clouds, stars and 'rediscover' how beautiful they are. You meet like minded people and now it's time to celebrate and 'rediscover'...

Creative types can submit proposal(s) no matter how wacky or fantastical & if they're chosen for The Hidden Hill Festival they'll be rewarded with 'free entry' and a 'special discount' for their friends! Whether its creating a bonkers party theme, a fancy dress-poets corner, creating a 'themed' parade, a workshop, a place/thing to decorate, a theatrical piece, a blog, carnival ideas or any other amazing idea, get in touch & get involved at hi@hiddenhill.co.uk .

The weekend will offer live, acoustic, and semi-acoustic music and DJ's, plus quirky arts, comedy and spoken word, film, AV, installations and illuminations, art trails, late night cinemas, theater, Q & A talks with musicians & artists, book exchange, an indoor beach with palm trees, light & tree installations, and themed & cocktail bars alongside open air discos.

A converted granary will become an late night premiere cinema & platform for speakers and spoken word. A specially designed woodland stage made of trees plays host to the acoustic acts. The festival will also offer holistic therapies, food stalls, an indoor beach area, artisan stalls, and if there's open skies a chance for star gazing & sun spotting gazing with astronomers.
