World Stage is a new international performing arts festival takes place in Bristol City Centre venues taking place from Thursday 7th July until Sunday 10th July.

Dance, music and theatre from as far away as France, Canada, Italy, Scotland and the USA will fill Bristol stages in venues across the city. World Stage Festival promises to bring something for everyone, with a programme of live performances and interactive workshops to suit all age groups.

Line-up

Step Afrika, Aché Brasi, Teatro Kismet's production of 'Little Mysteries', Les Voisin's production of 'The Queen of Colours', The Mayhem Poets, Rachel Davies' 'The Light Garden, Puppet State Theatre Company's production of The Man Who Planted Trees, Cirque Bijou, and Fromage En Feu. Related workshops in Step Dance, Puppet Making, Drumming, Capoei. As well as performances, the international acts will be providing top class workshop opportunities for schools and families across the city and some will also provide free entertainment in Anchor Square for passing Bristol residents and visitors.

Tickets

Tickets are available from each of the venues were performances are being held. Tickets for performances are priced from £6.50. Workshops are priced from £4, with discounts available.

World Stage will also offer opportunities for the wealth of local performing companies to showcase their talent and collaborate with the visiting international performers. Look out for details of the special Gala performance planned to take place on the Saturday night at Colston Hall.
