This the first Nottingham River & Blues Festival. It will be taking place at The Britannia Boat Club, near Trent Bridge, from 3rd - 5th August, and features a whole weekend of rhythmn and blues artists from places as far afield as Sweden, amongst others.

The programme is planned as follows:
Friday, 3rd August: Little Jenni & The Bluebeans (from Sweden) - headlinging; with support from the Space City Cowboys and The Sam Wilkinson Band.
Saturday, 4th August: Paul Lamb & The Kingsnakes - headlining; with support from Tantrum; The Joanne Shaw Taylor Band; The Fourty Fours; The Robin Hoare Band; and Malt Cross.
Sunday, 5th August: A free blues jam session featuring Colin Staples, with back line & drum kit provided.

Evening tickets are valid from 7pm for evening sessions. On Saturday and Sunday, the doors open at 1pm each afternoon.
