Set in glorious Devon countryside, in the beautiful grounds of an historic farmhouse dating back to the Domesday Book of 1086, with views to the moors, the Hayne Barton Jazz Festival offers a unique setting to hear some of Britain's finest jazz musicians, taking place from 17th - 19th August 2007.

This year the organisers are placing an emphasis on British women in Jazz, featuring three award-winning vocalists: Lianne Carroll with her Trio; Jacqui Dankworth with Digby Fairweather and his Half Dozen; Anita Wardell with the Craig Milverton Trio; plus Maggie Reeday; Louise Parker; The Laura Wright Inspiration Choir; Karen Sharp; and Roz Harding. Other artists include: Alan Barnes, Bruce Adams, Dave Shepherd and John Etheridge, Julian Stringle and Jim Hart.

The Concert area is an outdoor 450 seat venue with marquee covering to protect from any elements. Real ale, a hog roast, barbecue, vegetarian food, and Devon cream teas are available. The bar and toilet area will be situated nearby with disabled facilities on site. Parking is free and right next to the festival.

Camping is available on site and is included in the festival 3 Day Pass ticket.
