After selling out all their shows in Bristol, A Rum Do is very proud to announce its Summer Weekender - 'a festival of laughing, dancing, singing, live music and luxury'.

This event will be held in the extensive grounds of a 19th Century manor house; the Baskerville Hall Hotel, which is situated in the scenic Wye Valley, very close to the town of Hay-on-Wye. The rooms of the hotel will be used for various clubbing and pampering adventures, and a strong emphasis during the three days will be on creating a feeling of luxury for festival goers. Caterers will provide comestibles; themed bars with waited table service will run late into the night.

There will be three main stages: an open air stage, a Spiegal tent and a huge double peaked tent known as Madonna’s Bra. There will be both national and international acts, live music, bands, comedy, cabaret, themed waited table café’s, open air swimming pool area with funky palm trees, Japanese Restaurant, sleeping bag and canapes Cinema, High wire acts, mock Victorian evening, DJs, Jazzy bars, huge deluxe lounge area, nightclubs, impromptu theatre, and much more.

There will also be a 'Geisha House', a theatrically designed geisha environment specially commissioned for A Rum Do offering a range of eastern delights and Japanese-style hospitality from its team of decorative geishas. The Geisha House will host an interactive experience of cabaret performance throughout the weekend, including a Japanese Elvis impersonator, fan dances, tea ceremony and karaoke with complementary geisha formation dances.

A limited number of tickets (approx 3000) will be sold, keeping the event intimate and wonderfully intense. For those who favour bricks over canvas, rooms (plus full breakfast) at the hotel will be available. These can be reserved on a first come, first served basis.

A three day Weekender pass (including camping) is £85 (plus booking fee). Tickets can be bought from here.
