An intimate family run festival of performing arts, which takes place every summer, and brings together rock, indie, ska, world, folk, hip hop, drum n bass, dubstep, breaks and house, psytrance, cabaret, comedy, theatrics indoor and out, film and kids entertainment to an intimate farm deep in the rolling hills of Herefordshire.

Nozstock Festival takes place at a farm near Bromyard, Herefordshire from Friday 26th until Sunday 28th July 2013.

It is colourful, unique, crazy and thrilling incorporating four stages, three dance arenas, a theatre and comedy area, burlesque glamour, cinema, kids corner, two bars, food and drink, diverse stalls and circus skills.

Tickets

Early bird tickets have sold out. Tier 2 adult weekend tickets are priced at £95 including camping. A teen ticket is priced at £65. Children aged 12 years and under can attend for free. A campervan pass is priced at £30, and a car parking pass is £10.

The 5,000 capacity Nozstock offers 9 venues hosting an eclectic mix of performance, art, electronic supersounds and good old-fashioned guitar strumming. Known for its homegrown, handmade appeal, without any of that brash commercialism and with a unique personality of its own. Where else can you get opera at lunchtime and sock-wrestling of an afternoon?

The festival of performing arts will also offer a healing and therapy area, local and world cuisine, sock wrestling, walkabout theatre, ballz out circus troupe, fire dancers, jive and ceilidh evenings, sound art, spoken word and poetry, talks and forums from the tent of temporary thought with guest speakers.

The Enchanted Glade kids area will offer circus skills, tall tales, puppet procession, kidi yoga, uv disco and dance workshop, gaffer tape roses, bubble making, and workshops.

The cinema will present an array of experimental short films, animations, music videos and with live VJ performances, the cinema offers kids' shorts by day, sound art workshops and visionary works.

Nozstock: The Hidden Valley will also offer its guests a programme of cabaret and theatre.

The event offers a range of workshops - free standing, comedy, theatre, arts & crafts, kids, a cinetent, an arts & craft area with sculptures, little Wonderland Kids' Area offering all weekend entertainment for 12s and under, and a chance to jam around the wood fire.

Nozstock's main arena, 'The Hidden Valley', is landscaped around a ramshackle Tudor farmhouse which sits in the centre of the festival site. Here you'll find The 'Garden Stage', which hosts an array of eclectic artists with an electronic emphasis post-sundown. 'The Orchard' boasts the bigger names and party bands and the 'Bandstand' offers experimental electro-acoustica from diverse and unsigned artists.

The converted cowsheds include the 'Cubicles', with drum 'n' bass and dubstep, beside it the Bullpen, offering housey beats and alternative dance. 'The Coppice' hosts Tribe of Frog. There's also the 'Bantam of the Opera Theatre' which explores another world with live performance, workshops and after-dark experimental cabaret while 'Laughing Stock' bills comedians.

Kids' entertainment occurs off the beaten track and over the bridge where the 'Little Wonderland' is programmed with workshops, theatre, and opportunities to get interactive.

Whilst the 'the Wrong Directions Cinema' offers late night short films or music videos.

Nozstock's home-grown bars will offer the Wye Valley brew Butty Bach, local Kingston Rosey & Press ciders... the usual spirits, lagers, wines and homemade cocktails at as close to pub prices as possible.

Food will be sourced locally where possible, offering flavours from around the world with vegan and veggie options too.

Every year organisers try to add a little something new to the site and there's likely to be a new hidden performance space for 2012, festival goers will have to have something of the ingenious detective about them to find it.

Getting there

Gates open at 10am from Friday 26th July. Shuttle services will be on offer from local town Bromyard and to and from Hereford and Worcester before and after the festival.
