A community festival, celebrating it's 30th anniversary year, run by volunteers, with folk, classical, world music, drama and performance, for children and adults. The festival will be taking place from Saturday 18th to Sunday 26th May 2013.

Line-up

Offering a varied programme of music, comedy and dance, designed to appeal to all the family. There is also a market and many other activities happening across the town, including our children's art activity in the Sub Rooms and a display from our young people's photographic competition in the Mortimer Room.

Saturday 18th May: Festival Saturday - 10am - 3pm
Comedy from Clever Peter Town Hall 7.30pm (bar from 7.00pm)
Sunday 19th May: Bristol Gasworks Singers St George's Church 7.30pm
Monday 20th May: 'Walk on the Wild Side' A talk by Ellie Harrison Town Hall 7.30pm (bar from 7.00pm)
Tuesday 21st May: Richard Valentine Memeorial Folk Concert: Sam Carter Ruskin Mill 7.30pm (doors 7.00pm).
Wednesday 22nd May: An Anniversary Celebration with the Galliard Ensemble Christ Church 7.30pm.
Thursday 23rd May: Afternoon Film: 'The King and I' Arkell Centre 2pm
The Hidden Sun Horsley Church 6.30pm
Rhythm and Muse Egypt Mill 7.30pm.
Friday 24th May: Ruskin Mill Field Centre Lecture 'Genes and Genetics: The GM Dilemma' Christ Church Hall 7.30pm
Bristol Old Vic Theatre School Play: Moonfleet Town Hall 7.30pm.
Saturday 25th May: Mike d'Abo and his Mighty Quintet Carol Embrey Suite, Forest Green Rovers Doors open 7.00pm.
Sunday 26th May: Nailsworth Youth Showcase Town Hall 7.30pm (bar from 7.00pm).

Plus Walks, Exhibitions and Workshops . During Festival week numerous events will be taking place across Nailsworth.

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
