House of Fun Weekender curated by Madness will be held from Friday 18th until Monday 21st November 2016 at Butlins Resort, Minehead, in Somerset.

Line-up

The line-up will include two appearances by hosts Madness, plus Lightning Seeds, The Cuban Brothers, David Rodigan, Bitty McLean, Randall, Kiko Bun, Craig Charles, Men of North Country, The Invisible Orchestra, Federation of The Disco Pimp, Russ Winstanley, The Flirtations, Alan King, Lee Thompson's Ska Orchestra, The Church, Rhoda Dakar, Crinkle Cuts, The Simmertones, Hardwicke Circus, Big Swing Soundsystem, Cut Capers, Darren Bennett, Madame Scorcha, DJ Resbie, Wedofunk, Mr Happy, and Mr B.

Plus more live acts and DJs, three nights of nuttiness with Hip Hop Karaoke, Silent Disco, Reggae Aerobics, Comedy, Poetry, Musical Bingo, Swimming Pool Party, Fancy Dress (theme - Comedy Greats), and more.

Accommodation

Room Only accommodation offers either double, single or bunk beds with private bathroom and TV, but no kitchen facilities or lounge, more like a hotel room. Self Catering accommodation offers private bathroom, full kitchen facilities and separate lounge area with TV. Tickets are selling fast, and Room Only accommodation is available in 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 berth rooms, and Self Catering accommodation is also available in 4, 6, and 7 berths.

On site

Butlins Minehead looks out across a sandy beach. The site is equipped with a supermarket, newsagent, cash points and restaurants. Onsite facilities include a cinema, Splash Water World - a sub-tropical environment that has a wave pool, a swimming pool, 3 flumes and also a flume based raft ride - Ten-pin bowling and amusement arcade. Sports include Archery, Football, Basketball, Darts, Petanque, Fencing, Kwik Cricket, Netball, Rounders, Table Tennis, Outdoor Bowls and Crazy Golf.

Getting There by Road

Heading north the simplest route is to take the M5 to Taunton (Junction 25), then take the A358 and A39 to Minehead. Heading south on the M5, you can follow the signposts for the A39 from junction 24. Butlins Minehead Holiday Camp is just half a mile along the seafront road from Minehead town centre.

Getting There by Train

If travelling by train, the nearest main line station to Minehead is Taunton. A bus transfer service is operated by Southern National between Taunton Station and Minehead. This service is available at an additional cost. On Mondays to Saturdays, there's approximately an hourly service, with the last bus leaving Taunton Railway Station at 10:15 pm. On Sundays and Bank Holidays services run every 2 hours from 9:35 am - 9:35 pm. For general information call Southern National on 01823 272033. Please note that National Express coaches stop inside the main entrance.
