Holmfirth Festival of Folk takes place from May 9th - 11th 2008. This is the third Holmfirth Festival of Folk and once again most events are free but collections will be taken.

The festival consists of music sessions, concerts, singarounds, folk clubs and workshops in almost all the pubs in Holmfirth plus a Saturday night concert in the Civic Hall.

Artists have not yet been announced but more information will be posted here when available.

There's also a Ceilidh on Saturday night in the Market Hall and a Family Ceilidh on Sunday afternoon.

Expect also lots of 30 dance sides and street musicians and the full participation of local schools who will be performing in the Civic Hall.
