More info

Expect main stages. There will be food outlets and social areas separating the two stages. There's also a full programme of family entertainment, as well as a street arts programme with walkabout, workshops and fire shows.

This year it is expected that the festival will be once again operating a cashless system for the bars through the introduction of bar tokens in an attempt to reduce queuing.

A new work of art will go on show at the festival this summer. Organisers are to commission an artist or artists to create a contemporary artwork to mark the event’s 20th anniversary. The selected design will be displayed at a prime location within the main arena in the grounds of Lews Castle during the festival,

Transport

There are good public transport links, flights available to Stornoway and a regular ferry service.
