Handmade, the family friendly music festival held at O2 Academy Leicester, and other venues, returns for a 7th year on the May bank holiday weekend on Sunday 5th May 2019.

Line-up

Confirmed acts include Metronomy, The Futureheads, The Sherlocks, Ibibio Sound Machine, Black Honey, Mono, Jamie Lenman, C Duncan, Dream State, Blood Youth, Crows, Life, Heavy Lungs, Lice, Decade, Can't Swim, Saint Agnes, Rozi Plain, and many more.

The event offers Nationally and Internationally renowned musical acts, comedians and performers, alongside exceptional local music, art, film and photography talent. The festival will be taking place this year in multiple rooms at Leicester’s O2 Academy and in parts of Leicester University’s Students Union. Both Firebug and The Cookie remain heavily involved, as do Magic Teapot and The Robot Needs Home Collective.

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
