International partner
The festival will cast the spotlight on the United Kingdom at this year’s tenth event.
The Convention
As well as the live music, there's also a number of interviews with luminaries from the world of Music and Media, to show the way in which success is achieved, as well as educational panels, workshops and networking sessions. The UK's premiere music business convention, is a place for music industry professionals from across the world to exchange knowledge, ideas, contacts and business.
The industry event will focus on four key topics: Music Licensing – Explained At Last!’, ’Music Marketing Is Broken – Let’s Fix It’, ‘How To Sell Out Gracefully – Better Brand Partnerships’ and ‘What's The Point Of A Record Label Anyway?’.
SpotifyÂÂÂÂÂÂs Director of Label Relations Will Hope will kick start a full-day convention strand exploring how music marketing is evolving for the digital age
These divisive topics will be explored in depth via a series of panels, presentations, debates and keynote speakers. The speakers for these events, plus the series of In Conversation sessions, are still to be announced.
More information will be here when available.
