Glastonwick 2011 is the 16th year of the annual beer, music, poetry and more beer festival offering entertainment, and compered by Attila the Stockbroker.

Held at Church Farm, Coombes, West Sussex from Friday 3rd to Sunday 5th June 2011, Glastonwick promises a weekend of enormous quantities of delicious real ale (including many new brews as usual), farmhouse cider, perry, and top quality entertainment.

Jim Bob, Les 'Fruitbat' Carter & Abdoujaparov, The Lovely Brothers, Terry Garoghan, The Astronauts, Dirty Revolution, Contingent, Ken Parsons, Captain Of The Rant, Paul Simmonds & Naomi Bedford, and Sex Pirates. Plus the welcome return of Richard Storybeard.

Sunday afternoon
John Otway, Robin Ince, Walnut & The Wankers, Asbo Derek, and Gary Kaye.

And of course Attila the Stockbroker.

Tickets

Full weekend tickets are priced at £40, including camping, and will go on sale from Monday 7th March. Friday evening (6pm to midnight) ticket is priced at £10. A Saturday (noon-midnight) ticket is priced at £15 - SOLD OUT. A Sunday daytime (from 12 noon): ticket is priced at £5. Individual session tickets will go on sale from Monday 4th April. Children under 12 have free admittance, 12 and over full price.

Predicted sales: Friday & Saturday likely to sell out by mid-April.

Camping

The festival offers overnight camping on the Friday and Saturday nights, ample car parking space and tractor rides/some entertainment for the kids, as well as the customary plethora of fine independently brewed beer and music.

There is camping offered on site for £5 per night (Friday and Saturday), but you MUST book in advance if you wish to camp on site.

Times

The festival is open from 6pm to midnight on the Friday, 12 noon to midnight on the Saturday, and 12 noon to 7pm on Sunday. Caravans and camper vans are welcome - one camping ticket per person required. All campers (and everyone else) MUST be off site by 7pm Sunday.

Getting there

Frequent trains run to Shoreham from Brighton, Worthing (both only 10 minutes away by train) and other stations along the West Coastway Line. From there, jump on our special shuttle bus linking the festival with Shoreham High Street and Railway Station (plus one return journey from Brighton).

Refreshments

Have we mentioned the beer? There will be about 65 cask-conditioned ales, all from small independent breweries - mostly unusual but with a few 'old favourites'. About 10 farmhouse ciders and perries, and plenty of food including vegetarian options.
