Set in Leicestershire over the weekend of Friday 28th to Sunday 30th May 2010, and no relation to Glastonbury, Glastonbudget is a music festival that combines new acts with tribute acts. 2009 will be the festival's fifth year.

There will be over 130 bands appearing including a range of new and original acts playing at Glastonbudget as well, as tribute acts.

Line-up

The main stage line-up includes Four fighters, Fillers, Oasish, Blurb, Money for nothing, Duran The Tribute, Guns 2 Roses, State Of Quo, Mercury, Atomic Blondie, Derek Forbes & Brian McGee (ex-original Simple Minds), Stereotonics, One Step Behind, Blings Of Leon, Coldplace, and Greendate.

Other acts confirmed for 2010 include The Heroes, Money For Nothing, The Dobsons, Ashdowne, Awaiting Approval, Captain Horizon, Coyote, Cry Havoc, Doctor Princess, Fatbwoi 5, Formal Warning, Hannah B, Hotel Zulu, Ictus, Kicking Habits, Primal Device, Rise Against, Ryker Sear, Shelly Soljaz, The Shrinks, Signify, Skull Fox, So77, Sons Of Beaches, SugaBeat, Swift Flasby, The Big Bad I Said NO!, The Lucky 27s, The Pennyhangers, The Sneaks, The Stiggz, and Wicked-Messengers.

Tickets

The early bird ticket offer has now ended. An aadult weekend (with free camping and parking) ticket is priced at £54.50, a teen ticket (16-18 years) £49.50, a young person ticket (6-15 years) is priced at £32.50, a child weekend ticket (0-5 years). Caravans / campervans

Caravans & Campervans are allowed, but places are limited and tickets must be booked in advance. Please be aware that hook ups (water/electricity) will not be provided. Everyone staying in the campervans must also have a weekend camping ticket bought before the event starts, there won't be any campervan tickets on the gate.

Campsite facilities

There are plenty of toilets around the campsite and in the arena so please don't use the hedges. There will also be a few showers located in the family camping area. There are several taps located around the site which are safe to drink from. There is a bar and a catering outlet also located in the campsite which will be open until approx 2am.

The festival offers Family Camping - this is a quiet area of the campsite for families, ask the campsite staff on arrival for directions. This area will be monitored by Security and Campsite Personnel and noise will be expected to be kept to a minimum.

Disabled access

The site has full access for disabled persons. Any persons requiring disabled access must have booked through the ticket line 0116 2698807 as numbers are limited. When arriving at the festival enter via the main carpark entrance and at the gate show your blue badge and ticket, to be directed to the disabled parking area.

Getting there

If coming by car the carparks are well signposted. Please do not attempt to sleep in or near your car. You will be directed to the ticket office then to the campsite. If not coming by car there is a drop-off area at the top of the main carpark and this is where taxi's will drop off and pick up.
