After taking a year off in 2015 Fuse Lichfield, organised by Lichfield Arts, returns taking place from Friday 8th to Sunday 10th July 2016 offering a weekend of music and arts under canvas in Beacon Park, Lichfield, Staffs.

Free festival

The FREE family community arts festival has a culturally diverse mix of events, performances and activities for all ages. The theme for 2016 has not yet been announced.

Line-up

Evolution Stage: The Indecision, Funke and the Two Tone Baby, The Roz Bruce Infusion, Sonic Boom Six, K.O.G. & the Zongo Brigade, Rock Bottom Risers, The Tors Band, The Strumtroopers, Young Pilgrims, Kaz Hawkins, The Buffalo Cartel, Blast Off, Walsall Jazz Orchestra, and Sonia Sabri Company.

The Momentum Stage: Kissing Kippers Fishing Club, The Nics, Deny All Robots, The Jar Family, Pearl Handled Revolver, Misty's Big Adventure, An Arcane Dispute, Venkman, Spirit Level, Wildfire Folk, Little Brother Eli, Global Reggae Band, and Hanne Kah and Band.

Entertainment

The event offers music from national and local bands, workshops (dance, poetry, circus skills, singing, songwriting), performances (Poetry, comedy, theatre, dance, storytelling), art and craft activities. Lots of events and activities will involve dance of many types.

There's free parking nearby and the park is just a few minutes walk from the city centre, bus and rail stations.
