The 21st Folk on the Pier takes place around The Pavilion Theatre, The Pier, Cromer, in Norfolk and other for both organised and impromptu fringe events over three days from Friday 10th until Sunday 12th May 2019.

This festival champions the acoustic-folk, and folkrock genres at its annual gathering, with an afternoon and an evening concert each day. Ashley Hutchings is the festival's Patron.

The fringe

The event also has quite an active fringe programme in local venues.The Fringe offers a mix of styles from traditional folk to the pure experimental. As with any folk festival fringe, open mic and sessions form the backbone of the programming but set performances include Cajun Rock to Mediaeval based comedy and music.
